In the spirit of Carnival we will be creating celebration inspired mosaics just in time for Mardi Gras.

Come have fun, share some King Cake and create your own glass and mirror mosaic fleur de lis*. 

In this workshop students will learn the basics of mosaic making including understanding materials and their use, how to use tools to best effect, how to combine shapes and materials for fabulous effects and how to finish and grout their mosaic to take home for display.

*There will be patterns of many different fleur de lis and other iconic carnival inspired designs to use (or create your own) and a kaleidoscope of colorful materials to work with.
